Washington: The US President Donald Trump on Thursday said that previous US Senator Joe Lieberman was one of his top picks to be selected as FBI chief.
For the new competitor who might lead the authority, supplanting Comey, Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions have been meeting different hopefuls.
Trump went under feedback for terminating Comey as he was overseeing the examination concerning Russia`s intruding in the 2016 US decision and any conceivable connections between the Trump and Russia amid the battle.
